These American Dreams

Already Gone definitively proves that you can rock out while waving the flag

These American Dreams title track single cover

About The Song

These American Dreams by Already Gone is the title track of their new album, their first since the tumultuous post-Covid era began.

From its start, the song pulls no punches as to where the band and its generation stand on the soft tyranny of this new era, and its obsession with stoking the fires of division – while ignoring the unifying promises and core principles of the United States; namely, that it is a nation of limited government, where the freedoms guaranteed to its citizens – particularly freedom of speech – are bulwarks against such tyranny.

These American Dreams serves as a stark reminder of who Americans are as a people, as much as a warning of who (and what) we are at risk of becoming.

The Video

Despite the key scenes being filmed backstage in the green room before a show, the video still manages to make a powerful statement by combining archival footage of pivotal moments in American history, interspersed with shots of the band filming their last music video and of course, the green room scenes.

About The Band

Hailing from Houston, TX, Already Gone began their musical journey as a tribute to the legendary Eagles. For 18 years, they’ve captivated audiences with their electrifying performances, still delighting fans with their Eagles showcase approximately 30 times each year. However, the bandis increasingly gaining attention for their original compositions which showcase rich harmonies and classic rock vibes that pay homage to their tribute roots while forging their own unique path in the music scene.
