This is the early one. Sunday, November 8, we’re back at Main Street Crossing in Tomball with doors and the kitchen opening at 3:00 PM and music from 5:00 to around 7:30 — home in time for a normal Sunday evening, which is the whole appeal.

Tickets

Buy tickets direct from the venue — Main Street Crossing sells through ThunderTix, and that’s the only place we sell.

Prices below are all-in, the way the venue quotes them: the ticket plus a $7.95 fee, so the number you see is the number you pay.

• Regular reserved — $51.95 ($44.00 + $7.95). Tall cushioned chairs at bar-height tables, 28 to 45 feet from the stage.
• Premium reserved — $61.95 ($54.00 + $7.95). Cushioned chairs at dining-height tables in the front half of the room.
• Drink rail — $61.95 ($54.00 + $7.95). Tall, cushioned, backless stools at the rail down the center of the room. Only a handful left.
• Premium banquette for two — $155.95 ($148.00 + $7.95). One ticket admits two people, seated side by side just 18 feet from the stage. Down to the last one or two.

Every seat gets table service, so dinner and drinks come to you during the show rather than you going to a bar.

Unlike Saturday, all four seating types are still open for this show as of writing — but the drink rail and the banquette are nearly gone, and they’re the two that went first for Saturday. Check the venue page for what’s actually left.

About the room

If you haven’t been to Main Street Crossing, it isn’t a bar with a stage in the corner. It’s a listening room — about 150 seats, and the furthest one sits 45 feet from the stage. No posts, no bad angles. People come to hear the music, and the room is built so they can. It’s also a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which is not something you can say about most places you’ll see a band.

Seating is assigned before you arrive

Showing up early does not get you a better seat. Every seat is assigned ahead of time, so the line outside is just a line. Buy earlier, don’t arrive earlier.

Most tables seat six or eight and are shared with other parties — the venue’s own phrasing is that you’ll be sitting with people “who are not yet friends.” Book together and you’re seated together; larger groups get adjacent tables. You can make a request at checkout, though the venue is honest that it can’t always be honored.

Food and drink

It’s a real kitchen, not a snack counter. It opens a couple of hours before the show and stays open until about an hour into our set, so you can have dinner at your table instead of beforehand. (The band agrees Main Street’s burgers are some of the best they’ve ever had.) Drinks run all night.
