This one came together fast, so here’s your short notice: Neverlost is going on the air. Mike Bell is playing it on Mid Valley Radio this Friday, September 11, a little after 12:00 PM Central (10:00 AM Pacific).
It goes on right after the first song coming out of the news, so give yourself a few minutes of cushion and tune in early.
How to listen
Mid Valley Radio is based in Oregon’s Mid-Willamette Valley, so the easiest way to hear it from Texas (or anywhere else) is the station’s free app:
Once it’s installed, tap Stations at the bottom of the screen, choose Music (not Sports), and hit the play arrow at the top. Jay already has it set up on his phone and says it’s a good little station, heavy on ’80s pop and rock, so you may want to leave it on after our song is done.
How this happened
Mike isn’t a stranger. He first saw us years ago at the Market Street concert series in The Woodlands and has caught us at Bernhardt and Wild Stallion since. These days he does his show from his own studio in Abilene, Kansas. When he heard Neverlost, he reached out and asked if he could play it. We said yes about as fast as a person can type.
He’s going to talk about the band on air and mention a few of our upcoming shows. He’s also inviting listeners to text in. If you’re listening, let him hear from you. He’ll pass every message along to us, and it helps make the case for putting Neverlost into regular rotation.
